Careers at Sign Architects

Build something that lasts

Since 2015, from our 36,000 sq ft workshop in Barking, East London, we've designed, made, and installed signage that businesses keep up for a decade — and a brand the high street can read at a glance. The people who do that work share a stubborn streak and an obsession with finishing the job properly.

Why we're hiring

We're scaling the workshop, the sales floor, and the install team all at once.

Sign Architects was founded in 2015 with a stubborn idea: that every business deserves signage that genuinely represents who they are. Ten years on, our 45-person team works from a 36,000 sq ft workshop in Barking, East London, delivering signage for brands like Costa Coffee, Paris St Germain, and Malabar Gold & Diamonds.

Demand is outpacing capacity. We're investing in the next phase: more sales executives to handle inbound from commercial property and franchise accounts, more sign makers to run our CNC and laser floors, and more installation leads to cover a growing project pipeline across London and the south-east.

Sales

Growing the sales team

Inbound enquiries are climbing — commercial property, franchise rollouts, and high-street retail. We're bringing on sales executives who close cleanly and don't drop the ball.

Manufacturing

Expanding the workshop

More CNC, more laser, more skilled sign makers on the floor. If you can fabricate built-up letters or run a router blindfolded, we'd like to meet you.

Installation

Deepening installation

Bigger pipeline, more installs per week, longer lead times we still want to beat. Installers, project leads, and surveyors — we have work for you.

Who we want to meet

Three kinds of people we're always looking for

We hire for character first, then craft. If any of these sound like you — even if there's no role open today — we'd still like to hear from you.

Craftspeople who care

Sign makers, CNC operators, fabricators and installers who treat every job like it's going on the front of their own shop. Tidy work, finished properly, signed off without apologies.

Sales people who'd rather solve problems

We're not chasing quick wins. We're after people who'll sit with a client's brief, ask the awkward questions, and come back with something that actually fits what their business needs.

Project leaders who finish

Designers, surveyors and project managers who follow a job through from first sketch to final sign-off — coordinating the workshop, the install team and the client without dropping the thread.

Open roles

No live roles right now — say hello anyway

We're between adverts. If any of the three pillars above sound like you, send us your CV speculatively — we keep a list and we come back to it when something opens up.
